Cannot find file error when using Metrics in GP 2010

Recently, an issue started where users at a company were receiving an error when they clicked on the View button in Metrics to display their chart or KPI in their web browser.  The error message was similar to:

After clicking OK, a user would receive a typical Script Error window with the error: The operation was canceled by the user, giving them a choice of Yes or No – either option prevented the web browser from launching and taking the user to their chart.

At first, it appeared there may be an issue with the reporting services setup or possibly security issues.  However, all of the setup appeared to be correct and the users were all able to browse out to SQL Reporting Services and generate the charts.  Also, the administrator user was receiving the error as well, on both workstations and the server.  Normal SRS reports also seemed to generate without error from GP.

We soon realized that the only changes that seemed to have been made since the error began was the installation of the year-end update for GP 2010, which brought them to version 11.00.2106 and includes Service Pack 3.  After opening a support case, we were able to verify that this is a bug with GP 2010 Service Pack 3.  Unfortunately, it does not appear that there is a fix at this point in time to be able to use the View button, so for the time being, users are able to setup shortcuts to their most used charts and KPIs.
